The kit comes with 12 Letter Blocks, 12 Number Blocks, 12 Word Blocks and a 3D Lite Board. Each block contains an LED that illuminates when connected to the 3D Lite Board. Combine and stack the blocks any way you can to make different words, sentences and equations. All of blocks are compatible with the other Laser PegsŪ construction kits so you can build and learn at the same time.
With more than 35 fun games included for the beginner or advanced pupil, these blocks are a great way to get kids exited about reading, writing and arithmetic. The letter blocks can be used in a light up spelling bee (word list included), or to explore sounds and memory. Build and swap the word blocks (four words per block) into sentences. Teach balancing equations, order of operations, solving for variables, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with the number blocks. When the school day is over, you can even play three easy board games or use the Xs and Os to play tic-tac-toe.
To play, just install 3AA batteries to power and cycle through 4 light settings: Slow Flash, Fast Flash, Solid Light, and off. The board also acts as a storage bin to hold all your pegs when play is done.

We loved playing with this!
This is an excellent multi-discipline game - great for all ages. My family used it for word building, short poems, sentences and math problems. It was also great for creative games of many kinds. My children added blocks to a growing tower as each correctly answered a spelling quiz. I recommend it to family and friends.
