The workbook engages little veterinarians with activities that are as fun as they are enlightening: adopting, naming, and learning about a dog, learning about healthy snacks dogs can eat, measuring the chest size perimeter and front leg length of the dog, performing a 'Nose to Tail Exam,' doing a tick check and removing tick stickers from the dog, and both an introductory and graduation ceremony. My Little Veterinarian Kit promotes social development, cooperation, teamwork, creativity and problem-solving, among other skills.

I love the creative play this kit inspired. My daughter aspires to be a vet and she had such a good time with her friend! They could play vet with this kit for a long time! The kit helps kids learn how to care for an animal, provides specific asessments to measure during an exam, and provides a cute introduction to the veterinarian profession.
The kit is great for imaginative play and also contains many activities for older children to learn from as well. Students receive special tools such as plastic tweezers and sutures to perform surgery or tick extraction. The medical coats are high quality and, paired with the rubber gloves, my kids have had many hours of imaginative play! These are excellent academic and recreational products!
